HuCards from the PC Engine have 38 connector pins, however, HuCards from the TurboGrafx-16, also known as TurboChips, have eight of these connectors in the opposite order.  The console’s power switch also serves as a lock, preventing HuCards from being withdrawn while the machine is turned on. Due to the TurboGrafx-16’s limited availability in Europe, the console does not have its own PAL formatted HuCards, instead of supporting regular HuCards and producing a PAL 50 Hz streaming video.
